Our format is to run a 5 week workshop in an urban poor school followed by a student reading test taken by the subject teacher of the respective school and the results shared with us. We encourage the school teachers to keep motivating the kids to continue the reading habit. As per the results, we observed improvements in the following areas
Low to medium improvement for 90% of test takers
Low to medium improvement for 90% of test takers
Low to medium improvement for 60% of test takers
100% of attendees learnt how to use dictionary
100% of the attendees are now making an effort to pick up a book & read it
